All children and young people who want to learn a brass instrument or percussion are welcome – whether you have never held an instrument or have played for years.

Try it – free
Come to a rehearsal, Fridays 4.30–6.30 pm. Try instruments and meet the group.

Welcome to the band
You get an instrument to borrow, a seat in the band and start at step 1 of the programme.
Good to know
- Rehearsals: Fridays 4.30–6.30 pm at Bäckbyhuset, Bäckbytorg.
- Instruments: you do not need your own instrument, we help with loans through our partners.
- Membership fee: SEK 100 per year. Support from the City of Västerås and Region Västmanland keeps the fee low.
- Age: VBA is for children and young people. Get in touch if you are unsure whether the age fits.
